Lost Edges is a self-portrait created for the exhibit My Subject/My Self: Artists' Self Portraits, curated by Josephine Martins and Joseph Farbrook for ArtsWorcester. My statement in part reads"The hands and face become a series of planes on which light can fall. My physical form is described by the paint that becomes light and shadow. The images in the photos behind the central figure mimic me, arguing with each other while being obscured by their own passionate gestures. They are my voice, as is my painting."
